Do I need to know Hangul already?
You can start with a few familiar words or none at all. Optional romanization and spoken Korean help you find your footing as you learn to recognize Hangul.
Is Hop Into Hangul free?
The vocabulary website is free to browse. The iPhone app requires a paid App Store subscription. Available plans and localized prices appear in the app before purchase.
Can I learn on the website or Android?
Hop Into Hangul is available on the App Store for iPhone. This website remains a home for Korean vocabulary guides. Existing web members can still access their accounts as before.
How do the widgets work?
Add Hop from the Home Screen widget gallery or Lock Screen customization menu. Sync the app to download a year of daily words. Widgets check membership online when iOS refreshes them. If one asks you to reconnect, open the app and sync. iOS controls the exact refresh time.
What about my existing account?
You can link your existing Hop Into Hangul account from the iPhone app using your email and password. An App Store membership is required for the iPhone app.
